PRETREATMENT
Use EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH on clean, dry wood, free of flaking varnish or old paint.
If necessary, remove old or damaged finishes. First, sanding the surface (120-grit sandpaper) will allow the EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH to penetrate more effectively. Outdoors, it is recommended to round off sharp edges of the woodwork (120-grit sandpaper) to ensure a perfect finish.
APPLICATION
Ready to use, do not dilute.
Apply with a brush (roller for large surfaces) in three even, full coats.
We recommend lightly sanding the surface by hand (120-grit sandpaper) before applying the final coat, then removing any dust. This process also ensures good dimensional stability and creates a smooth, attractive surface that is easy to maintain.
MAINTENANCE
Clean periodically with the EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE CLEANER. If the surface looks wet after a rain shower,
sand the surface with 120 grit and apply a sufficient amount of finishing coat.
