UV oil clear
Natural Oil, Modified acrylics. UV curing. Gives a perfect look as a traditional oiled wooden floor.
Range of application
Industrial application for wood flooring and wood panels. Only for interior use.
Application
Preparation substrate:
Prepare the wood according the rules of the art and remove the sanding dust carefully.
Processing:
- Stir well before use.
- Add the amount of hardener and mix well.
- Apply +/- 10 – 15 g/m2.
- Use custom brushes and/or pads to distribute the oil into
- Gelling by UV lamps (ca 1 lamp Hg 80W – 10 m beltspeed).
- Slight fladder sanding.
- Apply 5 – 10 g/m2 UV Oil Clear.
- Cure by UV lamps (2 - 3 lamps Hg 80W / 10 m beltspeed).
Protection
UV OIL CLEAR can be used as base and topcoat.
Important information
This product can be used as a base coat and a topcoat.
To have better scratch resistance, please use UV OIL PRIMER CLEAR.
The use of coatings containing isocyanates demands convenient precautions (see MSDS).
Avoid sanding the first coat by gelling the film with low energy UV lamps.
The added hardener will help to cure the UV Oil also in the wood where the UV light cannot reach.
The hardener will also improve the adhesion, resistance to water and other chemical products.
