UV oil colour
Natural oil, modified acrylics, tinted in different colors. Good adhesion on wood. Coloring of the wood Low filmbuild gives a perfect look as a traditional oiled wooden floor different colors available.
Range of application
Industrial application for wood flooring and wood panels. Only for interior use.
Application
Preparation substrate:
Prepare the wood according the rules of the art and remove the sanding dust carefully.
Processing:
- Color can be adapted by mixing with UV BASE Tinters.
- Stir well before use.
- Add the amount of hardener and mix well.
- Apply +/- 10 – 15 g/m2.
- Use custom brushes and/or pads to distribute the oil into the wood.
- CurebyUVlamps(1lampGa80w+1lampHg80wper10m belt speed).
- Slight brush or sanding.
- Apply 5 -10 g/m2 UV OIL CLEAR.
- Cure by UV lamps (2 – 3 lamps Hg 80w per 10m belt speed).
Protection
UV OIL CLEAR.
Important information
The use of coatings containing isocyanates demands convenient precautions (see MSDS).
Avoid sanding the first coat by gelling the film with low energy UV lamps.
The added hardener will help to cure the UV Oil also in the wood where the UV lamps cannot reach.
The hardener will also improve the adhesion, resistance to water and other chemical products.
